Ericka Carrera

Ecuador's 13 x Depth National Record Holder who obtained 3rd place in Dominica Dept Competition (2025, 2023) in CWT,CWT BI, CNF, Overall and held number #14 ranking in the world in the 2023 CMAS Depth Championship (Roatan) has been developing her skills for over 9 years.   

Her mission is to expand the sport throughout Ecuador, particularly along the coast, with a special focus on the Galapagos Archipelago, a place deeply close to her heart. Among her accomplishments, she has certified over 180 students across the country, with 30 of them being part of the "Galapagos Freediving Program," where they received free training.

Her ultimate goal is to establish a national freediving team that will showcase Ecuador's talent on the global stage.

Her guiding mantra: "Be about it, be it. Don't just talk about it—do it."
