OUR STORY
Driven by community influence and aims to advance freediving in Ecuador while promoting inclusivity. Our efforts focus on conducting research, gathering scientific data, and advocating for legislation to recognize prime freediving locations in the Galapagos and along Ecuador's coast. They anticipate a growing demand for skilled freedivers to collaborate with local fishermen in emerging sectors like algae pond farming, which will contribute to scientific advancement. Proficiency in breath-holding is seen as vital for promoting eco-friendly tourism, generating employment opportunities, and cultivating environmental awareness and scientific development.
MISSION
Passionate organization in to promoting conscious freediving, an ancient indigenous activity, through its sports initiative. They focus on building a community of freedivers who serve as safety experts and instructors, following international standards set by AIDA. As part of their social responsibility, they provide opportunities to learn freediving up to level 2 in regions like Galapagos, Machalilla, and Guayaquil. Through their scholarship program, they have certified over 40 students at levels 1 and 2, totaling more than 120 graduates from their school.
CREW
As Ecuador's first-ever AIDA Freediving School, our expertise lies in cultivating mindful freedivers, beginning at the age of 6 and guiding them to achieve proficiency up to level 3 according to AIDA standards. Located in Samborondón, Guayaquil, our influence extends worldwide as we travel to share our knowledge, with a particular focus on the Galapagos Islands. Our instruction is delivered in both Spanish 🇪🇸 and English 🇬🇧, ensuring accessibility to a diverse audience.
